The article has been published on 27 Jun 2018 in Dainik Jagran news paper highlighting the delay by the Uttrakhand state government to grant NOC to Aercheological Survey of India to carry out excavation in Kanvashram. On one hand Central Government has granted Iconic Place status to Kanvashram and has initiated steps to develop and beautify Kanvashram and on the other hand Uttrakhand state Government has after a lapse of 5(Five) months not granted NOC to ASI, Dehradun for excavation in Kanvashram.
बिलकुल सही लिखा हमारे दैनिक जागरण के पत्रकार बन्धू अजय खनतवाल जी ने की उत्तराखण्ड सरकार का बस चले तो वो कण्व आश्रम को ग़ायब कर के ही चैन लेगी। ये कैसी विडम्बना है की एक ओर जहां भरत सरकार द्वारा कण्व आश्रम को ईाकोनीक स्थल घोषित किया है तथा इस क्षेत्र की जनता सम्राट भरत की जन्मस्थली को विश्व पटल पर लाना चाहते है तो दूसरी और उत्तराखण्ड की सरकार का वन विभाग इसे अपने जंगलों में दफ़्न करना चाहता है। इस तरह के जघन्य अपराध तो शायद अंग्रेज़ों ने भी नहीं किये थे।
