कण्वाश्रम और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्र मे अनेकों स्थान है जो कि कण्वाश्रम से जुड़े हुए हैं। जैसे कि किमसेरा, विस्तार काटिल, सौंटिल्याधार इत्यादि। एक स्थान जो कण्वाश्रम के के निकट एक पहाड़ के शिखर पर है को स्थानीय लोग “राज दरबार” के नाम से पुकारते है। पर इसकी इतिहासिक महत्त्वता या इसका कण्वाश्रम से क्या सम्बन्ध है के बारे मे किसी को कोई जानकारी नही है। “राज दरबार” की ज़मीनी हकीक्त को जानने के लिए कण्वाश्रम विकास समिति के सहयोग से शौर्य स्पोटर्स क्लब का एक दल २५ दिसम्बर २०१८ को २ घंटे की धनों जंगल की कठिन चडाई के बाद वहॉ पहुँचने मे सफल हुआ। शिविर पर थोड़ा समतल इलाक़ा है जहॉ एसा प्रतीत होता था कि हाथियों का एक झुण्ड वहॉ रात को रुका था। शिविर पर अनेकों चट्टानों मे ओखली जैस छेद बने मिले जो कि इस दिशा की ओर इशारा करते है कि यहॉ कभी लोग रहा करते थे। बिना किसी वैज्ञानिक विश्लेषण के ये बताना सम्भव नही है कि ये कब रहते थे। कण्वाश्रम तथा उससे जुड़े स्थानों की खोज जारी है
There a number of places around Kanvashram which are associated with it eg. Kimsera, Shantilya Dhar etc. There is one location situated on top of a hill which is addressed by local inhabitants as “Raj Darbar”. However no one knows about its historic importance or its association to Kanvashram. To find the factual reality of the existence of the place a trip was organsed by Kanvashram Vikas Samiti in league with Shrya Sports Club, Kanvaghati to explore the location on 25 Dec 2018. After 2 hours of intense climb through dense forest the team was successful in reaching the summit. The summit is a level flat top. With large number of droppings in the area it appeared that a herd of elephant had camped there the previous night. A number hole in rocks were observed which are normally used to pound/grind grain. This indicates that at some period of time people used to live there. But without any scientific analysis it cannot said as to when theylived there. The search to unfold areas around Kanvashram is on.
