The work in respect of the excavation by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) team is progressing at a fast pace. After carrying out initial site survey the team got an area 150m x150m cleared of bushes and shrubs. They there after prepared a site map, which was done by chart-table method by a survey team. Presently the detailed site plan map with a report prepared by the team is compiled and is being sent to their Head office in New Delhi to get the necessary clearance and financial sanction. If all goes well the preliminary work of excavation will commence in first week of Feb 2018 by digging up trail trenches. Further excavation in the area depends upon the results obtained in the initial digging. Kanvashram Vikas Samiti is providing full and dedicated assistance to the ASI team.
