A meeting was organised by Kanvashram Vikas Samiti to discuss future prospect of development of Kanvashram and its surrounding areas. Shri Harak Singh. Forest Minister in Uttrakhand Government was invited as Chief guest. A number of issues were discussed and I shall write in details about them later but one thing was quite appearnet from the point of views expressed by the Minister that he seemed more interested in making a zoo in Kanvashram than in creating the place into a cultural and heritage sight. Quite disappointing.
कण्वाश्रम विकास समिति दवारा एक सभा का आयोजन किया गया था जिसमें उत्तराखण्ड के वन मंत्री हरेक सिंह रावत मुख्य अतिथी थे। सभा मे कण्वाश्रम तथा उससे जुड़े क्षेत्र के विकास के सम्बन्धित विषयों पर चर्चा की गई। पर मंत्री दवारा व्यक्त विचारों से ये प्रतीत हुआ की वो कण्वाश्रम मे एक चिड़ियाघर बनाने मे ज़्यादा रूची रख रहे थे ना कि अन्य विष्य जो समिति द्वारा उनके सम्मुख रखे गये थे।
